What

With each passing month, more and more Australian decision-makers are switching on to the critical role of energy management in the transition to a net zero emissions economy.

The pace of change is undeniable, and as the country’s premier event for energy efficiency, electrification and decarbonisation, the EEC National Conference 2024 has its focus firmly fixed on the future opportunities for the energy management sector.

On 15-16 May, the Conference will bring Australian and international thought leaders together with policy makers, industry, NGOs and consumer groups to share ideas and build relationships crucial for boosting action.

And for the first time, the Industrial Decarbonisation Summit will run

on the day prior to the conference.

Industrial Decarbonisation Summit

14 MAY 2024

SYDNEY

Presented in partnership with

Held the day before the conference at the same venue, this full-day event will examine the task of industrial decarbonisation from all angles.

Running with the support of our research partner RACE for 2030, and with a particular focus on energy intensive businesses not covered by existing policies, the Summit will cover:

  • The challenges facing specific subsectors and regions;
  • Technologies and practices driving industrial emissions reduction in Australia and worldwide;
  • Business frameworks and processes that enable emissions reduction, including data and analytics, energy management systems and net zero transition planning;
  • The policies and programs needed to raise ambition and build momentum for the transition.
